Grantee

Stephanie Kom was born and raised in North Dakota. She spends most of her time chasing two small boys and a slightly larger one. When she goes to work at the North Dakota State Library, she wrangles digital images for Digital Horizons to make ND information more accessible. Her obsessions include genealogy and history.

Films/Filmmaker

The home movies were filmed by Stephanie's paternal grandfather Vernon H. Baltzer. Most were filmed in the 1950's and 1960's in Napoleon, ND and Bismarck, ND. They include footage of Vernon's family, town events, and holidays.
